Business Reviews – Do I use them correctly?

Business Reviews are the key to a business expanding and gaining more clients. When your business is trusted, people will be more likely to use your services over other businesses like yours. Can you afford to miss out on more customers?

In the competitive world of business, it can be difficult to maintain a steady stream of clients. However, business reviews are a fantastic way to get business easily. A survey showed that approximately 91% of people regularly read reviews before actually buying a product or service that they are looking at? On top of that, almost 84% of people will trust an online review as much as a personal recommendation! So, how can you gain more reviews? How can you ensure people read them and trust them?

So how do I get more people to share their thoughts of my business online?

One way is to simply ask them. Many clients would be more than happy to help you out by sharing their experience if you’ve done some good work for them. After all, they would understand that businesses need reviews just as much as anyone; there’s no harm in trying. What if you no longer work with a client and they haven’t left you a review? Again, you could always get in touch with them and ask them if they would mind sparing a couple of minutes to help you out. Or, you could help them out first by following them on social media or sharing your experience of how easy they were to work with. However this works out, one thing to remember is that some businesses just won’t review you. Don’t waste time, make sure you invest your time into finding other clients who will lend you a hand.

How will reviews benefit my business?

If you are still unsure about launching into reviews, consider this. If you don’t have them, people won’t know whether or not your business is trustworthy and may not even approach you. Also, as long as you provide a good service with your clients, reviews can only make your business look good and so make clients more likely to work with you. Don’t wait around for clients to come to you with ideas, go to them. So, make sure you embrace the opportunity of new clients before they go to someone else and start collecting reviews now!
