Trustpilot: The Importance of Reviews

The best way to bring in new customers is through the experiences of your past customers. Building a strong portfolio of reviews is essential to bringing in new business, with 63% of shoppers being more likely to purchase your product when you have online reviews in place (MyCommerce.com)  

 

The particular review platform that we, at Dexterous Designs, use is Trustpilot. It is “a digital platform that brings businesses and consumers together to foster trust and inspire collaboration.” We have 52 reviews which equate to a 4.8-star rating, alongside lots of positive and encouraging feedback.  

 

 

 

Using a review site, like Trustpilot, has so many benefits for your business. Being exposed to feedback, whether positive or critical, really does motivate your team to maintain/improve your services for future clients and projects. It also gives you an opportunity to reach a larger audience by posting them on your social media – they aren’t restricted to Trustpilot alone, so to put it out there for people who aren’t actively looking on review sites, could bring in potential future customers too, while growing your social media at the same time – winwin! Funnily enough, Trustpilot focuses on trust, meaning that the reviews make readers trust your services before purchasing it for themselves. Reviews simply strengthen your company image, which ultimately brings in new customers and maintains good relationships with your past/current ones too.        

 

If you’ve had a positive experience with a company, then why not share it? It not only helps the company, but also offers an insight to potential future customers. If your business wants to grow their online reviews, then why not simply ask your customers for their feedback? Businesses need to utilise their positive relationships and experiences with customers, so they can create more in the future – make your customers aware of your Trustpilot page, and many will be more than happy to sing your praises.
