Celebrating London-based projects that improve services to homeless people.
For the last twenty years the London homelessness Awards have been recognised as the premier awards for housing and homelessness organisations. In that time we have given out well over £500,000 in prize money.
The ceremony at which the winning projects are announced is now a high profile event at City Hall with the Deputy Mayor in attendance.
Winners over the year have included local authority teams, big organisations, small organisations and organisations working in partnership. The awards embrace innovation and encourage radical but practical solutions to homelessness and rough sleeping in London.
The awards were originally set up in memory of Andy Ludlow, Director of Housing and Social Services at Haringey Council. He was a pioneer in developing a holistic approach to housing and social services. After he died at the age of just 51. London’s housing directors set up the Andy Ludlow Homelessness Awards as a lasting legacy and testament to his tireless work in the sector.
Our work with the LHA
The London Homelessness Awards approached us back in 2016, in need of a brand new website and to help design the full range of stationery and marketing material for their annual awards ceremony.
We work closely with the team and have built a good working relationship over the past 4 years. Liaising with the marketing department for content and feedback.
Each year, our challenge is to create a fresh new design concept for the awards, using the existing brand and colour palette. It is important to keep things feeling fresh.

Each year we have given the awards ceremony a new design, the brand is all about about celebrating achievements and promoting positive change in the community. The colourful and bold branding lends itself perfectly to this.

Once a direction for design has been agreed upon and signed off, we then set about applying this and ensuring consistency across all promotional material and stationery.
We also arrange and handle the printing of all material as well as overseeing the production and manufacturing of the annual awards trophy.
